Navigator now fully compatible with Android Auto

In August 2020 Google decided to expand Android Auto’s app ecosystem into new categories, including navigation. MapFactor was chosen as one of the few early access partners and now, after months of close cooperation with Google, we can introduce Navigator 7 – fully compatible with Android Auto.

Our customers will be pleased that, unlike by some other navigation apps, this function will be available at no extra charge in all Navigator 7 versions – from Navigator FREE to professional Navigator PRO.

It is great that the drivers will be now able to use MapFactor Navigator on their in-build car displays with Android Auto connectivity. Because they will not need to check their smartphone displays, driving will be safer and more comfortable. Thanks to the offline map data Navigator on Android Auto will provide directions also without an internet connection.

What stays and what comes new with Navigator 7 for Android Auto?

• still an offline and free gps navigation with voice turn-by-turn guidance,
• fully compatible with Android Auto,

It is easy to connect Navigatoru 7 to your car with Android Auto. All you need is:

1. Android Auto application installed on your smartphone running Android 6 or above
2. install MapFactor Navigator 7 for Android (or soon a Navigator 7 PRO version)
3. use a high quality USB cable to connect your phone to your car.

New professional TomTom maps

The new TomTom map update brings new territories all over the world and a change from the concept of an individual map purchase to an advantageous one-year regional map subscription which includes also all quarterly map updates. The customers thus always have up-to-date maps on hand.
